On 5th of April Darren will be looking at colour management and how to best manage colour space and profiles throughout the workflow.

 

The weekly theme is

 

'Anyone in a hat' up to two photos on a memory stick please or send by 12:00 Midday on Tuesday to the email address below

(The image should be framed with something normally present in the

natural or man-made landscape - not something introduced)

Competition Rules

The rules for the monthly competitions are very straight-forward:

 

  • All Photographs must have been taken by the member entering them
  • All photographs must have been taken within 12 months of the competition date
  • All photos must be printed - home or commercially made prints are accepted
  • The maximum size for all prints is A4 (portrait or landscape)
  • If a print is smaller than A4 then please mount it on A4 card for easy framing
  • Unless specified otherwise, prints may be in colour or black and white
  • The maximum number of entries per member is two
  • The same photo must not have been previously entered for a club competition
  • All prints must be unframed and unmounted

 

 

All competitions will be judged by a ballot of members or by an apponted judge.

Points will be awarded for competitions on the following basis, points will count towards the annual club 'Photographer Of The Year' award.

 

1 point for each print entered (up to a max of two)

5 points for first place

4 points for second place

3 points for third place

2 points for fouth place

1 point for 5th place
